What is going on? Someone please explain to me what this whole project is about…? Please don’t reply with, ‘oh you just don’t get it’, because you are stating the obvious, i absolutely do not get it. Is it an elaborate hoax? Are they just old boys having a laugh? Is it meant to be taken seriously? I’m not surprised Metallica are a part of something so tragic and i understand Lou Reed has lost a couple of marbles as of late, but come on man, pull yourself together!!!
Does something happen when you become unfathomably famous? Do the people that work for you/surround you not tell you that the art you are creating is undoubtedly awful? That cannot be the case as Bruce Springsteen has been releasing fantastic records throughout his entire career. Is Bruce Springsteen level headed and a well grounded person for a man of his stature? I’m going to take a wild guess and say yes. This collaboration is a fantastic advertisement for egomaniacs…….ego’s ruin lives.
Also, when did Lars Ulrich become such an awful drummer? I understand many people have never rated him but i know for a fact he used to be able to play a straight 4/4 beat in time. This whole thing has left me bewildered.
